The 9th-12th boys will be traveling to St. Mary's Academy in Kansas to participate in this year's Jubilee Cup.
Permission slips were sent home with the boys on Friday, October 21st, and may also be downloaded here.
Please return permission slips no later than Friday, October 28th.
Both OLHCA and St. Vincent's in Kansas City will be attending for a full day of events and competitions. All of our high school boys will be attending.
We have arranged two vans and we'll have at least 5 chaperones, including Fr. Flanery.
We'll be leaving the school on Thursday, November 3, about noon, and returning to the church Saturday, November 5, around 7pm.
Here's a summary of the schedule:
Departure: After lunch (at the school) on Thursday, November 3rd. Boys should bring money for a restaurant meal on Thursday night and Saturday (return trip).
Return: depart around noon on Saturday, November 5th. ETA at St. Isidore's 7PM. A text update will be sent on Saturday with a more accurate ETA.
What to bring: Adult Chaperones and students should bring their own toiletries, towels, sleeping bags and pillows.
Uniforms: The boys will be in school uniforms on Friday, but they should bring additional clothes for extra activities and travel.
Basketball Game: We're planning on a Knights basketball game on Saturday morning, so please also bring your gear if you're on the team (uniforms will be distributed next week at practice).
St. Mary's will provide breakfast, lunch and dinner on November 4th and a bagged lunch on November 5th.
Allergies: If your boys have food allergies, please let the secretaries know, so they can be accommodated in St. Mary's.
Cost: $25 per boy (plus travel food costs) to help defray transportation costs.
